Wine & Food Tasting Evening, February 28th

Our first wine tasting of 2012 has now been confirmed.

The evening will be hosted by Philip Brodie of Hallgarten Druitt/Novum Wines and will feature some interesting & delicious wines with food to match. For those that haven’t attended our wine & food events before, the format is informal with a brief talk about each wine before each course.

The menu can be found here.

The evening is priced at £37.95 for five courses + matching wines, with a start time of 7.30pm.

Please note these events tend to sell out quickly, therefore registering interest early is suggested – call 0115 9500111 for more details or visit our website to learn more about our Restaurant in Nottingham.

Valentine’s 2012

Yes, it’s almost that time again! Please find our menu here.

This year the 14th falls on a Tuesday which we understand might not be the most convenient time for many of you to dine out. As such our Valentine’s menu will also be available on the preceding Saturday (11th) and the following Saturday (18th).

Please note however that if not dining on the 14th a pre-order will be required.

In addition to our evening menu, this year we will also be offering something slightly different; a Valentine’s afternoon tea. With a selection of cakes, sandwiches, leaf tea and a glass of prosecco it offers an interesting alternative to the normal Valentine’s fare.

This will be available 12-4pm on the 11th and 18th.

Traditional afternoon tea in Nottingham

From 13th January 2012, The Larder on Goosegate (Nottingham) will be open for traditional afternoon tea.

Opening at 12 midday until 4.00pm, Thursday to Saturday.

With a selection of cakes, pastries, puddings, sandwiches, specially selected teas, champagne and Prosecco, it will offer a convivial, elegant alternative to a pub lunch or cafe pit-stop. All the patisserie will be made in-house at The Larder and served on beautiful vintage china in the friendly, unhurried atmosphere of the restaurant’s Grade 2 listed dining room. The menu will make it easy to either indulge with one of the popular desserts or order a full spread, complete with cake stands, chilled bubbly and pots of your chosen tea leaves.
