An 18th Century Meal - September 30th

We've been working with local historian & food expert, Carol Barstow of the University of Nottingham to recreate a typical Nottinghamshire meal from the 1750's. Carol will be discussing the dishes, ingredients and techniques and it promises to be a great insight into how we used to dine. In order to keep costs down we won't be serving wines from the period, however we'll have the next best thing, that is some great wines from the Bordeaux region selected by Philip Trease of Weaver's Wines on Castle Gate. £35

Saint Mont Wine Evening - October 7th

We're delighted to welcome Fanny Sucré of Saint Mont in South West France who'll be discussing and serving six of her wines, accompanied by our own take on the delicious food of the Gascony region. £39.95
